Volleyball Recap: Churchland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Norview last Wednesday, Churchland came back down to earth. The Truckers came up short against the Granby Comets on Monday, falling 3-0. The Truckers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Comets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-17.

Ashlyn Carr paced Churchland's offense, picking up three kills. Carr really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Churchland's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Granby, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Churchland and Granby will both be playing Booker T. Washington the next time they take the court. The Truckers will host the Mighty Bookers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Comets will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
