Basketball Recap: Woodland Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Woodland entered their game against Delta on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Woodland Cardinals took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delta Bobcats. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodland's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2. As for Delta, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodland won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bell City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland is facing Bell City at the right time seeing as Bell City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Delta, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chaffee at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th.
