Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Dawson School Mustangs

The Heritage Christian Eagles will head out to challenge the Dawson School Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson School took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Heritage Christian, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Heritage Christian put the hurt on Gilpin County with a sharp 3-0 win.

Heritage Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Dawson School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Flatirons Academy.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-7.

Heritage Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Dawson School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Heritage Christian took their win against Dawson School in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
