Football Recap: Atlantic Shores Christian Comes Up Short

Atlantic Shores Christian lost against Norfolk Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seahawks took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 41-12. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlantic Shores Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norfolk Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Atlantic Shores Christian and Norfolk Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Seahawks will face off against North Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (192 vs. 20). Meanwhile, Norfolk Academy (ranked 87th) will meet St. Christopher's (ranked 26th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
