Soccer Game Preview: University Prep vs. Enterprise

The University Prep Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Enterprise Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for University Prep's offense. They lost 3-0 to Gridley on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 874th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 179th).

Meanwhile, Enterprise waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Cubs. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Anderson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jasiel Salazar (2), Fernando Valencia Estrada, Juan Ruiz, and Abdiel Franco-Gomez.

Enterprise pushed their record up to 4-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those three contests. As for University Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
