Science Park and Weequahic are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Science Park Chargers will take on the Weequahic Indians in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Science Park will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Saturday, Science Park took a blow against Montclair, falling 65-23.

Meanwhile, Weequahic posted their biggest win since January 31st on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 73-48 margin over University. With the Indians ahead 45-24 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Science Park better keep an eye on James Porter. He was instrumental in Weequahic's win, putting up 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Hamilton, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Weequahic was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Weequahic's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Science Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
