Soccer Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rolling Meadows can now relate to. They came up short against the Fremd Vikings on Friday, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Rolling Meadows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Fremd are ranked 50th).

Rolling Meadows' defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Fremd, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5-4.

As of now, neither Rolling Meadows nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
