Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonita). Everything went their way against the Claremont Wolfpack on Saturday as Bonita made off with a 12-0 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Bonita got a great performance from Daniel Nageer as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Joaquin Covarrubias, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Judah Reeve was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Bonita's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Claremont, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Coming up, Bonita will take on Great Oak in a tournament on Wednesday. Bonita is facing Great Oak at the right time seeing as Great Oak is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Claremont, they are taking a road trip to square off against Montebello at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Montebello will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Claremont surely won't give up without a fight.
