Eastbrook hasn't had much luck against Southwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eastbrook Panthers will welcome the Southwood Knights at 7:30 p.m. Eastbrook will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Eastbrook will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Mississinewa, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Eastbrook secured a 48-44 W over Mississinewa on Friday.

Eastbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Younce, who posted 16 points. Younce has become a key player for Eastbrook: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 15 points, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Malakai Luthy, who scored seven points in addition to six boards and four steals.
Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when Southwood faced off against Northfield on Friday. Southwood took down Northfield 55-41.
Southwood's win came from a few key players Eastbrook will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emery Liddick, who went 8-for-16 on his way to 21 points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2024. Bryce Wilcox was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 19 points and five rebounds.
Southwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northfield only three assists.
Eastbrook's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Southwood, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Eastbrook has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 35.1% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Southwood, though, as they've only made 27.9% of their three-pointers this season. Given Eastbrook's sizable advantage in that area, Southwood will need to find a way to close that gap.
