Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ludden Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bishop Ludden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Onondaga Tigers 3-0 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Gaelic Knights in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Bishop Ludden never let Onondaga on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-23.

Riley Abernethy paced Bishop Ludden's offense, picking up 12 kills. Abernethy got some help from Ava Christodoulou and her 19 assists. Abigail Mossotti controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Bishop Ludden's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Onondaga, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Bishop Ludden is taking a road trip to face off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Onondaga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
