O'Connor hasn't had much luck against Hamilton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Huskies at 3:45 p.m. O'Connor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

O'Connor blew Pinnacle out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Pinnacle got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since February 27th.

Ayden McGinnis got O'Connor off to a strong start despite the final result, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. McGinnis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, O'Connor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Waterbury, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Hamilton faced Chandler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Huskies fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 6-4.

O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6-2. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1.

O'Connor couldn't quite get it done against Hamilton in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 7-2. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
