Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fremont). They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas on Wednesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Pumas are ranked 1100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Fremont, bringing their record for this year to 10-4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four contests. As for Leadership Public Schools Richmond, they dropped their record down to 2-12-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fremont will challenge Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
