Owyhee barely beat Borah the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Storm's pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions an 11-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Storm have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaleb Doty tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Gage Haws and Cade Walker did most of the damage at the plate: Haws went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double, while Walker went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Haws continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Jack Hallenbeck was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Owyhee hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Owyhee's record now sits at 18-1. As for Borah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.
