Baseball Recap: Boaz Has No Trouble Against Pinson Valley

Boaz made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pinson Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Boaz blew past Pinson Valley 10-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Pirates have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Boaz is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. Pinson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boaz will take on Gadsden City at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pinson Valley, they will face off against Gardendale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
