Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes Down Ranked Wood River

Centennial faced Wood River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 2-1.

Kennedy Harris paced Centennial's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Autumn Priebe and her eight assists. Sophia Guinn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Centennial back to even at 2-2. As for Wood River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Skyline on the 23rd. As for Wood River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Fremont on the 23rd.
