Volleyball Recap: Centennial Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Wood River

Centennial faced Wood River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wolverines 2-1.

Kennedy Harris paced Centennial's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Autumn Priebe and her eight assists. Sophia Guinn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Centennial back to even at 2-2. As for Wood River, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Skyline on the 23rd. As for Wood River, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against South Fremont on the 23rd.
