Soccer Recap: Asheville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Asheville Christian Academy lost against Christ School back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions lost 6-0 to the Greenies. While losing is never fun, Asheville Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Christ School are ranked eighth).

Asheville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Christ School, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheville Christian Academy will square off against Erwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christ School, they will take on Asheville School (Independent) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Christ School will be up against Asheville School (Independent)'s rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
