Chase Garnett Delivers Best Effort of Season
Liberty Christian was led to victory by Chase Garnett, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Garnett rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.3). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Prestonwood Christian's probably not too fond of Garnett given he always seems to get the better of them. Garnett rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in August of 2023.

Sawyer Anderson continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his seventh-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least three passing touchdowns. He threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Unfortunately for Trinity Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Anderson. Anderson threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Matthew Mcclain Goes Supernova in Prestonwood Christian Loss
While Matthew Mcclain delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Prestonwood Christian. Despite the defeat, Mcclain was still balling out as he picked up 139 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 76 yards.
Prestonwood Christian's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. Mcclain and Prestonwood Christian will square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
