Baseball Recap: Attica Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Attica can now relate to. They took a 16-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covington Trojans on Wednesday. The Red Ramblers just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.

Jayce Larson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Attica's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-19-1 when he doesn't). Tristen Miller was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Attica's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Covington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9.
