Orange Vista barely beat Hemet the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Coyotes never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with  an   8-0  win  on Monday. The  contest marked the Coyotes' most dominant  victory of the  season.
The result came thanks to  Emily Ruvalcaba's shutout, as she gave up just four  hits.
 On the hitting side, Orange Vista saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jazmine Zabala, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. Another  was  Danielle Zabala, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
Orange Vista is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Hemet,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 14-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Orange Vista will  challenge  rival Poly  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hemet is set to  take on  their familiar foe Valley View  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Bulldogs 3, the Eagles 1.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
