Baseball Game Preview: Hudson Falls Tigers vs. Glens Falls Black Bears

For the second straight game, Hudson Falls will face off against Glens Falls. The Tigers will challenge the Black Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hudson Falls took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Glens Falls 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 3rd.

Christopher Hunt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Hudson Falls' success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is 3-1 (and 3-8 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Zachary Crossman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
