Baseball Recap: Ashville Comes Up Short

Ashville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Sylacauga Aggies. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-13 loss last Tuesday.

Ashville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Sylacauga, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Ashville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Southeastern on the 29th. As for Sylacauga, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Central of Clay County on the 1st.
