San Jacinto are taking a road trip to take on Elsinore at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Jacinto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

San Jacinto took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on West Valley with a sharp 21-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.

Lucy Barreras made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Keyera Cameron was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Kamorah Johnson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

San Jacinto was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Temescal Canyon hit Elsinore with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Titans, falling 12-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

San Jacinto's record now sits at 9-10. As for Elsinore, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

San Jacinto suffered a grim 14-6 defeat to Elsinore in their previous meeting on April 11th. Can San Jacinto avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
