Football Game Preview: Howard Huskies vs. Cross Creek Razorbacks + How To Watch

The Howard Huskies will take on the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Howard and seven for Cross Creek.

Howard is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Westside last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Huskies were dealt a 49-7 defeat at the hands of the Patriots. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Meanwhile, Cross Creek fell victim to Westside and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Razorbacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Patriots are ranked 139th).

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cross Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Howard against Cross Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
