Pearland kept a clean sheet against Manvel on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Manvel Mavericks as they made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Oilers have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Manvel from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Caden Sparks led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Pearland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven games. This is the second loss in a row for Manvel and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Pearland has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Dawson on the 25th. As for Manvel, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against South Houston on the 25th.
