Basketball Recap: Henderson Comes Up Short

Henderson lost against Kilgore back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Henderson Lions took a blow against the Kilgore Bulldogs, falling 60-31.

Henderson's loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Kilgore, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-11.

Henderson will venture away from home to take on Carthage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henderson is facing Carthage at the right time seeing as Carthage is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kilgore, they will welcome Chapel Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapel Hill will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Kilgore surely won't give up without a fight.
