Soccer Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Takes a Loss

If Greencastle-Antrim was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Waynesboro on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Gettysburg Warriors on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Greencastle-Antrim can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Gettysburg are ranked 154th).

Greencastle-Antrim's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Gettysburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greencastle-Antrim will host Chambersburg at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gettysburg, they will welcome Mifflin County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
