Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Triumphs

Head-Royce won the last time they faced Saint Mary and things went their way on Saturday too. Head-Royce came out on top against Saint Mary's by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jayhawks.

Head-Royce's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Saint Mary's, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Head-Royce will be playing at home against St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Head-Royce has won four straight at home, while St. Joseph Notre Dame won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Saint Mary's, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Novato at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
