Soccer Recap: Sparkman Takes a Loss

Sparkman lost against Randolph School back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sparkman took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Randolph School. Sparkman fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Randolph School since on Tuesday.

Sparkman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-3. As for Randolph School, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10-1.

Looking ahead, Sparkman will face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sparkman will be up against Westminster Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Randolph School, they will head out to challenge Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Randolph School is facing Lee at the right time seeing as Lee is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
