Red Mountain is 8-2 against Westwood since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Red Mountain Mountain Lions will head out on the road to take on the Westwood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Red Mountain will be strutting in after a win while Westwood will be coming in after a loss.

Red Mountain will bounce into Friday's match after beating Mesa, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Red Mountain came out on top against Mesa by a score of 54-43 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Skyline and fell 62-31. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 31 points.

Red Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Red Mountain beat Westwood 61-51 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Red Mountain since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
