Soccer Recap: Watkins Memorial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Lakewood last Thursday, Watkins Memorial came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves on Tuesday, falling 7-1. Watkins Memorial were not able to make up for their defeat to Worthington Kilbourne from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Watkins Memorial now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Worthington Kilbourne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watkins Memorial will welcome Licking Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Watkins Memorial are facing Licking Heights at the right time seeing as Licking Heights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Dublin Scioto at 7:15 p.m.
