Softball Game Preview: Salem Academy Charter Navigator vs. Boston Collegiate Hurricanes

Salem Academy Charter is 9-1 against Boston Collegiate since June of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Navigator will venture away from home to face off against the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. Salem Academy Charter comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Salem Academy Charter couldn't beat Cristo Rey on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Navigator came up short against Cristo Rey, falling 24-8.

Mariah Jones was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Crismerlin Vicioso also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Boston Collegiate was able to grind out a solid win over Randolph on Tuesday, taking the game 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

The victory got Boston Collegiate back to even at 3-3. As for Salem Academy Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Salem Academy Charter might still be hurting after the 17-4 loss they got from Boston Collegiate in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can the Navigator avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
