Softball Recap: North Side Comes Up Short

Joshua hit North Side with a 12-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Steers lost 15-0 to the Owls. The Steers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Side saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Casteneda, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

North Side's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Joshua, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-11.

While North Side had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
