Basketball Game Preview: Prosser Mustangs vs. Selah Vikings

The Prosser Mustangs will face off against the Selah Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Selah will be up against a hot Prosser squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. Prosser simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Toppenish 80-51. With the Mustangs ahead 45-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Selah waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their game with ease, bagging a 75-48 victory over the Huskies. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Huskies are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prosser's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.5 points. As for Selah, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
