Sophie Williams made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 7 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jacksonville Christian Academy got a big performance out of Bryleigh Reid, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Cali Sexton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
