Jace Waggoner Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Tri-Valley's Jace Waggoner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Waggoner rushed for 213 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.
Tri-Valley's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1. Waggoner and Tri-Valley will face off against Salmon River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Stuart Derrick Dazzles in Cascade Win
Cascade found a leader in Stuart Derrick as the team took down Salmon River on Friday. Salmon River had no answer to Derrick as he rushed for 189 yards while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Cascade pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Derrick's next game is against Horseshoe Bend on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Garden Valley Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Trevor Corn
Garden Valley picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Trevor Corn. Corn turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 99 yards on only nine carries, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
