Alhambra is a perfect 10-0 against Montebello since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Alhambra will venture away from home to square off against Montebello at 3:30 p.m. Montebello took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Alhambra, who comes in off a win.

Alhambra was handed a 31-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Ramona Convent 6-5.

The team relied heavily on Evelyn Estrada, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Faith Chavez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Alhambra hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Meanwhile, Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellflower.

Alhambra's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Montebello, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Alhambra beat Montebello 11-6 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Alhambra repeat their success, or does Montebello has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
