McKinney North entered their tilt with Magnolia West on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mustangs.

Tinley Brubaker paced McKinney North's offense, picking up ten kills. Brubaker got some help from Malia McNeal and her 15 assists. Zoe Alsup controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Magnolia West had strong showings from Addison Park, who had 14 digs, and Hayden Stebbins, who had 13 digs and nine kills. Stebbins has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last four times she's played.

McKinney North's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Magnolia West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

McKinney North has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Barbers Hill on the 15th. As for Magnolia West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Manvel on the 15th.
