There's no place like home for Collinsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Wolfe City Wolves 42-14 on Friday. That looming 42-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pirates yet this season.

Collinsville found their leader in sophomore Paxton Davidson, who rushed for 254 yards and three scores while picking up 14.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Davidson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.

Collinsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Wolfe City lost, don't look at Hd Davis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 172 yards and one TD, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown. Davis' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 110 rushing yards dating back to last season.
