Baseball Recap: Minneola Takes a Loss

Minneola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bucklin Red Aces. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Aces this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on Tuesday.

Minneola saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lathan Mcphail, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Mcphail's first of the season.

Minneola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bucklin, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minneola will head out to face off against Ellis at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bucklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
