Baseball Recap: Glenbard North Comes Up Short

Glenbard North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Charles East Fighting Saints. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting Saints this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-4 loss last Tuesday.

Glenbard North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for St. Charles East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Glenbard North will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheaton-Warrenville South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Charles East, they will head out on the road to take on Plainfield South at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
