Baseball Recap: West Has No Trouble Against Roosevelt

West had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Roosevelt Rough Riders 7-0.

Not much got past Jacob Narez, who gave up just six hits to keep Roosevelt off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Reef Sharman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joey Campbell, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South on the 22nd. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against El Segundo on the 22nd.
