Badin lost to Talawanda back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Rams came out on top against the Brave by a score of 4-1.

Phebe Kiefer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emily O'Brien, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kendall P., who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Badin's record is now 17-4. As for Talawanda, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Badin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Hamilton on the 10th. As for Talawanda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Fairmont on the 10th.
