Andrew Anaya turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Thursday. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Golder back in May of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Rauner is 3-1 when Anaya allows one or fewer earned runs, but 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Anaya and Rauner will challenge Bulls College Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have been dominating at home and they will enter the contest having won five straight home games dating back to last season.
