Volleyball Game Preview: Sebastian River Sharks vs. Martin County Tigers + How To Watch

Sebastian River is 0-3 against Martin County since October of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Sharks will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Sebastian River's tournament run continued when they took on Gateway on Saturday. The Sharks fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Martin County entered their tilt with John Carroll Catholic on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Rams.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (113-109) Martin County actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-21, 19-25, 19-25, 19-17.

Sebastian River now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Martin County, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.

Sebastian River couldn't quite get it done against Martin County when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Sharks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
