Softball Recap: Boyd Broncos vs. Little Elm Lobos

Boyd can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on the Little Elm Lobos with a sharp 15-5 victory. The win was just what Boyd needed coming off of a 12-3 loss in their prior contest.

Boyd got a massive performance out of Brady Turner, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI and a run. Another player making a difference was Beckham Manley, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Boyd now has a winning record of 14-13-1. As for Little Elm, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyd will face off against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
