Soccer Game Preview: Jackson Christian vs. Plymouth Christian Academy + How To Watch

The Jackson Christian Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Jackson Christian put up the most goals they have all season on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lenawee Christian an 8-0 shutout. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Christian Academy hasn't lost a match since August 23rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lutheran Northwest as they made off with a 5-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Plymouth Christian Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Lutheran Northwest are ranked 204th).

Plymouth Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five matchups. As for Jackson Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-2.
