Softball Recap: Fairfax Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Fairfax was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the University Wildcats, falling 12-1. The defeat leaves the Lions still looking for their first win of the season.

Grace Lucas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Nathaly Aguilar also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for University, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Fairfax will challenge Providence at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for University, they will head out to square off against Palisades at 3:00 p.m. on April 4.
