Football Recap: Iola-Scandinavia Takes a Loss

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Iola-Scandinavia was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Auburndale Eagles and fell 56-7. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Eagles are ranked 85th).

Iola-Scandinavia's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Auburndale, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

As of now, neither Iola-Scandinavia nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
