Baseball Recap: Shadyside Comes Up Short

Shadyside managed to slip by Shenandoah the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 9-3 to the Zeps on Wednesday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Zeps earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Trenton Marling made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Shadyside and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Shenandoah, their record is now 2-16.

Looking ahead, Shadyside will square off against Clay-Battelle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shenandoah, they will face off against Marietta at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
